GX Magazine is a specialty publication focusing on retention and recruiting Soldiers in the Army National Guard. In addition to covering modern missions and historic events, GX empowers Soldiers and their families with custom content about fitness, nutrition, relationships, and careers. From 2004 to 2016, iostudio created, researched, wrote, edited, and designed each 108-page issue.

As editorial designer, my main responsibility was to layout provided copy and find appropriate visuals through stock images, custom illustrations, or photoshoots. I worked with photographers for in-studio portraiture and on-location field photography depending on our needs. In several issues, I created infographics to help visually present data. After approval, I helped with all production needs and got files ready for print.
